What Could Blisters On Lips Preceded By Sore Throat, Bleeding Gums Indicate?

It started with a headache. Then fever, body aches, sore throat, ulcers in mouth, swollen / bleeding gums and ended with cold sores on lower lip. Up until this point, I have never had any bumps or blisters on my lip of any kind. Have once been tested for HSV and blood work was negative. What could this be?

Thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. The fever body ache and ulcers over the mucosa and lip could be because of the herpetic virus infection. Consult you oral physician to rule out these ulcers from aphthous ulcers. If i am your treating doctor i would have treated you with topical anesthetic and analgesics. You can also take systemic analgesics for body pain. I hope my answer will help you. Take care.
