What Could Cause A Light Blue Greenish Color In Hurt Place?

Hi, my 8 year old daughter injured her finger nail by closing it a sliding pocket door. It is mildly red and swollen, but he base of her fingernail turned a light blue greenish color. It s almost the exact color of the veins you can see on the underside of your wrist. I was expecting to see red, blue, purple, even black with bruising under her nail. Any reason it would be this color?

This is blood accumulated under her nail and it is of that color, so do not be panic, apply ice to it and it will be fine soon. If she is complaining of severe pain then you can give her tablet brufen (200MG) . This color will change in to blue brown soon.
