What Could Cause Bowel Movement During Every Urination?

I am a 79 year old women. All of my life I have had several hard bowel movements a week. In the last 3 months I have a bowel movement every time I urinate, (That s pretty often because I have a bladder condition where I cannot control when it comes.) My bowel movements are not runny..They are formed and sometimes flat. They float after a couple of BM s a day. What would cause t his?

it appears you may be having fecal incontinence. this can be caused by age. floating stools may suggest that fat is not getting digested completely. i would recommend holding any stool softeners, seeing a gynecologist to discuss other options including exercises to strengthen sphincter tone
