Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Black green stools may be due to infection or intake of iron or bismuth intake or irritable bowel syndrome or upper GI bleeding etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Take probiotics. Use tablet ofloxacin and ornidazole. Take a soft diet.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
