What Could Cause Pressure In Vagina While Urinating With Little Bleeding After Being Treated For UTI And Yeast Infection?

Hi I was recently diagnosed with a urinary track infection and was prescribed antibiotics. A few days later my left labia was swollen so I went to urgent care and was told I had a yeast infection so they treated me for that. I now strain a little when I urinate there s pressure in my vagina area and there s blood from straining when I go to the bathroom. What is causing this and should I go back to the doctor again.

In most cases at this age this is caused by urinary infection or urinary stones so you should do urine analysis, urinoculture and kidneys ultrasound to rule these out. Also, vesicoureteral reflux may be possible cause which is anomaly of bladder but can be easily treated. You should drink raspberry tea and plenty of water till you do tests- Also, avoid sexual intercourse and have keep good hygiene. You should reduce salt in your diet as well. In most cases this is self limiting but sometimes antibiotics are required.
