Urologist 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i can understand your anxiety.
Protein in urine is tested in two ways: albumin or ACR and 24 hours protein.
You've not written what the protein level is or which test was done.
Anyway excess protein levels in urine,is always from the kidneys.
Excess levels of protein need to be investigated and is a sign of hypertension.
You may send all the reports to me,as a direct question.
