What Could Cause Stomach Ache On Having Food With High Sugar Content, Have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)?
My stomach hurts, after eating food with high sugar contents. I am 23 years old and also has a condition, PCOS, perhaps to due to insulin resistance, as told by my father. All my immediate families are healthy, but I do have an aunt and an uncle who are diabetic. I am currently taking birth control pills and anti-androgen given by my OBGYN. Whenever my stomach hurts, I eat some soups and fish, then my stomach calms down. What could be the cause?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. Your stomach hurts when you take food. Means it is due to the peptic ulcer. It may be due to the H pylori infection, gastric irritant habits, and anxiety etc. It has no relation with the PCOS and insulin sensitivity. I advise you to consult a gastro enterologist for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, and anaesthetic antacid gel. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to keep you healthy. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
