What Could Cause Swollen Fingers In The Mornings With Pain In Neck?

question # 1 - some times i wake up and my fingers feel swollen, then i flex them for a while and it goes away. question # 2 - what does it mean to have a pain in my neck for over a month ( between my shoulder blade and ear ) had a massage, tried different sleeping positions, did not change my mattress unless it is really a possibility.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to rheumatoid arthritis.
I suggest to do some examinations such as rheumatoid factor level and ERS level.
Meanwhile you can use anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.
You can also use cold compresses for local application.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
