What Could Cause Urinary Incontinence While On Trazadone, Gabapentin, Xanax, Pioglitazonea And Glipizide?
My spouse takes a lot of medications for his health condition. He takes loxapine, trazadone, gabapentin and Xanax for his mental disorder and pioglitazone and glipizide for blood sugar, eliquis and diltiazem for a-fib. Two days ago he started adding an extra dose of gabapentin per day because of his mental state to stabilize him - an approved upon extra dose by his psychiatrist - but today he woke up with having somewhat of a hard time breathing and urinary incontinence. In the past when he has had these symptoms, it was determined that he was allergic to blood pressure and statin drugs and he has stopped those medications a long time ago. what do you think can cause his symptoms now?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. Urinary incontinence is common along women after 50 and usually is caused by urinary infections or weakened pelvic floor. This is also a common and often embarrassing problem. If overreactive or incontinent bladder affects your daily activities, don't hesitate to see your doctor. For most people, simple lifestyle changes or medical treatment can ease discomfort. It is treated with specific medications, pelvic floor muscles exercises, electric stimulation of bihevioral treatment and in most cases this is adequate for incontinence control. If Cystitisis a cause as an bacterial infection then it must be treated with antibiotics..Surgical options are reserved for severe and intractable cases. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
