Hi, and thanks for being here !symptoms: over the last year I ve had pain discomfort in my pelvic / groin regons.more pronounced when sitting than standing especialy with the seat belt on.not much when walking or climbing stairs.Im 59 5 10 inches and 210 lbs I would say a liitle overweight. bp 112 /70 pulse is 110 and O2=94%I have not seen a doctor outside of work physicals in a while either..

Hello, Thanks for your query. They could be possibly due to Osteoarthritic changes (owing to your age and typical symptom of pain while getting up from a seated position).
Xrays of the involved joints will show up the severity of the arthritic (wear & tear) changes in the joints.
Protecting the joint from excessive load may slow down the rate of cartilage loss. It is also effective in relieving pain. The heavier you are, the more stress you put on your joints. Weight reduction for obese patients, wearing shock-absorbing shoes, avoiding activities like climbing stairs and using a walking stick are worthwhile.
