What Could Frequent Diarrhea In A Stroke-affected Person Indicate?
My ex-husband, who is 77, had a stroke 5 years ago. He is confined to either a scooter or recliner. His problem is that he has diarrhea every day, sometimes 2 & 3 times a day. Its getting worse because it started very early, and is continuing. I know some of his medicines can cause diarrhea, but that much and that often? Sincerely and God Bless, YYYY@YYYY

Mam as you have told here diarrhea can not be related with stroke symptoms, but it can be due to pelvic floormuscle weakness as well due to side effect of the medicines what he is taking. So have check on both of this factor with your treating doctor and do some changes in his diet keep it simple. Have more of fruits and vegetables as well have food on time. Hope this will be useful to you. Take care
