What Could Have Caused My Foot To Swell?

My Dr. Ordered a ct scan on my foot. My foot is swollen very painful to walk.or wear shoes. Missed some work.anyways the scan was done 10 day s ago. My Dr got the report.last Monday. She has not read the report yet. I know this because I called her office. I m getting upset. She has not called me back. I m in alot of pain. What can I do?

The painful and swollen leg points towards some fracture or ligament tear.

I need to know your x-ray or CT scan report to comment further.

So you can ask your doctor about providing a report to you as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, you can take ibuprofen like anti-inflammatory medication for five days.

Further management will be decided after checking the report.
