What Could It Be If Baby Has A Boil Which Does Not Leak When A Hot Compress Is Put?

my daughter is 6 months and has a boil/staph infection on her bottom.. i took her to the pediatrician when i first noticed it.he told me what to do, and gave me some ointment and oral antibiotic. once i put a hot compress on it, it formed a white head. so i popped it. stuff came out, but only when i squeeze it the more i squeeze she crys harded... it never leaked.. and doesnt have a head. but really hard, and bruised and red. how do i know if all the stuff is out..?? please help!!

Welcome to Hcm,
If it's hard and painful that means the stuff is still inside. Once the contents have been removed then the swelling usually softens and pain reduces drastically.
I would not suggest you to give pain to your girl. What you doing with hot compress is really good and continue doing it. That will soothen her and soften the contents inside and will in due course be expelled. Hope your child gets well soon. Take care.
