What Could It Be If Having Cold Breath And Not Feeling Cold Externally?

my wife has diabetes insipidus, last night, in bed, she was complaining of feeling extremely cold, she didn't feel very cold externally but when she cuddled up her breath was very cold which shocked me because I have never known anyone have such cold breath, I would like to know what you think?

That is probably a transient occurrence. If the inside is always warmer than the outside. She would be fine. There is just nothing to worry about at this time. I wish her well.
