over a two day period my lil 6mo boy first got a rash (like tiny raised pinkish white bumps) on his neck and one cheek. then the next day he had these welt like rashes on his tummy and all over his back. then last night he got a bad fever. 102.7 then this morning 102.9 but with fever meds i got it to go down some but then it spikes back up again. he is usually very playfull and all he does is sleep and breastfeed right now and gets very cranky ifotherwise...what do you think it is?

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
The rash could be due to viral exanthema rash. Which is quite common in infants.
There is no cause of concern as it's usually self limiting.
Do consult Pediatrician if the rash or fever persists.

Take care
