What Could Varicose Veins With Bumps On Foot And Wrist Suggest?
I have bad varicose veins in my legs,so maybe that plays a role in my problem. whenever i bump a vein in my hands, wrist, foot or ankle, the vein swells up really bad and is extremely painful for awhile. It then turns into really bad bruising all around the area. last night tossing a volleyball around it just barely tapped the bottom knuckle on my hand and it did it. What causes this? And is it anything i should be concerned about or is it just normal,i dont know anyone else that has this happen to them, that is why i wonder what is going on. thank you.
Hello, I have studied your case. Varicose vein can be polematic specially when there is thrombus with inflammation. Whenever this happen you can get hot water fomentation and also thrombofobe ointment. coming back to your knuckle issue, i would recommend you to get x ray of the wrist joint as it can not be taken lightly. Some time there can be minor hairline fracture. I would forbid you to apply any massage or any thing till you get your x ray done. Ice application can be done. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
