Hi! My daughter is 16 months old. She is slightly low in weight - weighing only 9 Kgs. Doctor has advised to cut down on milk, fruits and give no biscuits; and to give more of ghee and butter. Currently she is on the following diet: 1. Breakfast - sooji halwa with a little ghee 2. Lunch - Rice, fish with little veggies 3. Evening - homemade pannir 4. Dinner - Rice, fish/egg, potatoes/pumpkin She is not usually a fussy eater, remains quite cheerful during the day, loves eating, but is not gaining much weight. Moreover she is currently suffering from constipation for which we have started giving Ghia in her diet. Earlier she used to have banana and musambi regularly, but of late we have cut down on the same post doctor s advice. She, however drinks a lot of water We are a bit confused and request your advise on what diet we should follow for healthy weight gain, which will also not cause constipation etc
