Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted the symptoms and CT scan findings.

The symptoms are suggestive of a minor brain stroke- TIA (transient ischemic attack). In this condition, the blood supply to a part of brain gets reduced for a short while, leading to paralysis and other neurological symptoms.

The dark shadow in the CT scan could be an infarct. However, we need to the CT film, as well as the report to make a final diagnosis.

If in doubt, an MRI scan of the brain may be done for confirming the diagnosis.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
