What Does Dark Urine Indicate When Suffering From Urinary Tract Infection?

Recently had a urinary tract infection. I was given an antibiotic and orange pain medication. My regular doctor sent me today for a complete urinary test and culture to make sure the blood was gone. My urine has cleared up, but when I took test today, my urine looked a little darker. I did take my regular medication before I went in for the test. What does it mean when the urine was a little darker?

Dear member,
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
If you have taken the medicine and repeat test shows that there is no infection then there is no need to worry, drugs sometimes have colours that are later passed in urine.
thanks
