fatty diarrhea is also known as steatorrhea/pimelorrhea. It is an excretion of fatty, pale and malodorous stool that float on water. You usually find it is difficult to flush out the stool. Oily anal leakage may also comes togetherwith this.

Possible causes of fatty diarrhea are
1) lack of bile acid. It's may be due to liver damage, hypolidemic drug or having gallbladder removed in cholecysteotomy. Bile acids is really important in the formation of micelles which promote processing of dietary fat. Absence of bile acid will make your stool turn grey/pale.
2) due to consumption of non-digestable oil (eg:Olestra) It is usually used in reduced-fat foods
3) side effects of medicine that prevent absorption of dietary fat such as Orlistat (diet pill) Orlistat will block the enzyme that can digest fat. Therefore, fat can't be absorped.
4) consume jujoba oil

Associated disease:
-Malabsorption
-Pancreatitis
-Short bowel syndrome
-Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency
