What Does It Mean To Have Headaches And Shortness Of Breath After Suffering From A Concussion?
My college daughter who plays tennis for the school had a concussion a year ago. She was recently hit with a falling lamp in her dorm room and now is complaining of headaches behind the left eye, shortness of breath while she is trying to have a tennis practice. Could this be symptoms of another concussion type injury??? She has recently complained of shortness of breath when she went for a run in the cold temperatures. Her season will start in January and do we need to have her seen by someone...thank you
Hi, thanks for writing in. The best investigation to rule out any intracranial lesion is to get a CT scan done. In addition a neurological examination is necessary. I would suggest that you get her examined by a neurosurgeon at the earliest. Regards
