What Does Pain On Bottom Of The Head Indicate?

Hi I was out in town drinking etc. And woke up in hospital I made my way back home and realise the back of my head on the left side is hurting and at the top of my spine. However I feel ok just a little sore. Should I go to the hospital to get my self checked out ?

It is not clear by your description what you were brought to the hospital for and what did the doctors tell you. Did you hit your head when you lost consciousness? Did you check yourself out by your own initiative or did the doctors say that you were good to go?

If the doctors checked you out that means they didn't find any worrying findings in their exam. It is normal to have some headache after drinking due to electrolyte imbalance and alcohol effects on the brain, so there is no reason to go back to the hospital if the doctors discharged you.

I hope to have been of help.
