Hello my name is Anna I have just been for an eye test where it has been found that my inferior arterioles are swollen in the left eye. Can you tell me what this means. I have been referred for further optical investigations. Thanks in advance, Amn

Hello
It seems from the investigations that you have been told that you are having swollen inferior arterioles. This indicates retinal problems like inferior retinal artery occlusion.
This requires investigations to rule out underlying causes or associated causes like atherosclerosis, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, hypertension...
Ocular investigations like ocular coherence tomography, angiography are helpful in guiding the further treatment.
