This means you have an 'indeterminate' result for HIV . I can account for 4-20% of WB assays and should be repeated after 1 month.Th causes of such reports are
--serological in the process of sero-conversion
--Cross reacting non-specific antibodies
--infection with O-Strain or HIV 2
---Pregnancy (in case of female)
--Technical error

The result of Borderline reactive means that the person is neither free from disease nor we are suffering from disease.

So please take a DNA PCR test which will give a better clear cut confirmative result of either positive or negative
