What Does The Thyroid Test With TSH 4.77 Indicate?

My name is Bincy. Iam planning t conceive and iam taking thyrox 25 mg od
My lab results shows
T3 117.0 ng/dl
T4 10.6 g/dl
TSH 4.77 IU/ml
ultrasound reporthje t shows enlarged thyroid gland showing multiple tiny hypoechoic nodules within
I would like to know that is there any problem to continue the medicine if i conceive

From the available description it appears that you are suffering with hypothyroidism. Thyrox is not contraindicated in pregnancy and its absolute requirement to have a healthy baby. You are advised not to stop without medical advise during pregnancy as low thyroid may cause lot of problems in your future baby if you are not getting supllement in form of thyrox.
