What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Test Result Indicate?

Hi doc,,I had my ultrsound today and the result make me feel uneasy, The retroverted and retroflexed uterus measures 4.4 x 4.6 x 4.0cm,with smooth contour and homogeneous echopattern.The cervix measures 2.9 x 2.6 x 2.7cm, wtih homogeneous stroma and intact endocervical stripe. The endometrium is trilaminar,measuring 0.3cm, with intact subdometrial halo. No myometrial masses seen. The right ovary measures 3.1 x 2.5 x 2.2cm(Volume:8.9 ml). Within is a 2.6 x 1.8 x 2.0cm thin-walled (cap 0.2cm), unilocular ancheoic cyst with reticular pattern within.The left ovary measures 4.7 x 2.7 x 2.4cm(Volume: 16.3ml)No adnexal masses seen. There is minimal free fluid in the cul-de-sac.Please advice me what is these all about,,help me doc please. Can this be cure,God Bless!

Hi,

Your ultrasound report is absolutely normal. Uterus position in respect to the body axis is retroverted and retro flexed. The size of the uterus is normal. Endometrium is normal. Myometrium means the muscle of the uterus which has no abnormalities. Ovaries measurements are normal. There is a small functional cyst in right ovary which is normal. No need to worry about free fluid in pelvis since it is normal.
