What Does 'uterus Measures 8*4*5cm With Homogenous Myometerial Echoes Cystic Area Of Size 0.8*6cm With Echogenis Rim'mean?

I have irregular periods and my lmp was 1/12/13,my pelvic scan rpt is uterus measures 8.0x4.0x5.0 cm with homogenous myometerial echoes cystic area of sixe 0.8x06.cm with echogenic rim is seen in uterine cavaity rght ovary measures 2.4x1.4 cm
lft ov.measrs 2.9x1.4 cm, cyst with echogenic rim is seen in uterine cavity to be considered as early pregancy.

Please explain me

Hi,

Thanks for the query.
The report says that there is a fluid filled cyst in the uterine cavity. Such a finding is common in early pregnancy. The fluid filled cyst is the developing baby. Usually a small fetal pole [developing baby] is also seen but if the scan is done too early only fluid is seen.

Get a urine test done and if positive it will confirm the finding.
