What Happens If You Hold In Your Stool ?

Hi im 18 years and im a girl. I have no medical history on what im asking right now. last night I had 2 use the bathroom really bad andand I was in the car so I held it till I got home but when I went it was soft stool wit little blood in it then I went again and then I went again nd this time only a small amount of mucus and blood came im a bit worried. Should I be? Or is it something tht can go away by itself.?

Hi, welcome to HealthcareMagic.

You are most probably suffering from dysentery. The blood and mucus doesn’t have anything to do with you holding in your motion for some time. You should consult your physician and have you blood and stool examined. You might be prescribed antibiotics and ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) by your physician. Drink copious amounts of water.

you are suffering from bacillary dysentry and you should have psyllum husk with hot water at bed time.
