What Is The Advised Cure For G I Infection In A 94 Year Old?

please explain a g I infection in a person 94 years old the person has stopped eating and was discharged from the hospital ,with a black smelly diarrhea and refuses food .I am her care giver,she was re admitted to another hospital,i would like to know all that I can in order to help her.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Black diarrhea. Possible bleeding or iron therapy. Get a stool examination done
2. Give plenty of fluids.
3. Nutritional diet and family support.
4. Antibiotics treatment depends on stool examination
