What Is The Best Time To Take Nitrofurantoin Macro Dosage?

I am recently taking Nitrofurantoin Macro 100 MG capsules and I have accidentally missed a dose early in the morning and the prescription information said that if I miss a dose I can take it only if it s not close to my next dose time. My usual time is at 5:05 pm and 5:05 am. I missed my 5:05 am dose because I was at church and I didn t eat a meal at that time. So I took it at around 1:10 pm instead and now I just realized I missed my 5:05 pm dose. I was just wondering if I should take it now or wait till 1:10 am to take it? and if so when do I go back to my regular dose time.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
You have missed the tablet to take at 5 am, and taken at 1PM. Dont worry for one dose nothing will happen. Close to the second dose does n't mean, 4 or 5 hours a part. you should not take it at 3 or 4 o clock.
So don't worry about it nothing will happen, it is not a hard and fast rule to follow.
Only contrceptive pills are to be taken along with the next dose. Others if you miss the dose you can leave it and continue the next dose.
