What Is The Cause For Stomach Flu, Diarrhoea, Clammy Hands And Feet?

hello, i have been experiencing diarrhea for two days now, although when i go, it is always a very small amount. Also, every time i eat, my stomach gurgles and I sometimes have sharp abdominal pains and tightness. Two days ago i was exposed to the stomach flu. I was wondering if this could be the cause of my symptoms. I have not thrown up but my stomach feels very uneasy and always feels better when it is empty. I don't have a fever but my hands and feet are very clammy. what could be the cause of all this?

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that you might be having infection of the gastrointestinal tract.

You can take an antacid like Omeprazole 40mg once a day before meals along with Domperidone 30mg.
An antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin 500mg twice a day along with antiamoebic like Metronidazole 400 mg thrice a day will cure the infection, if present.
Taking a probiotic will have an added beneficial effect.
Dicylomine can be taken for abdominal pain.

Eat light diet prepared under hygienic conditions. Also maintain hydration.

If the symptoms persists, get your self clinically examined and investigated.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
