Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Is The Cause Of Abdominal Pain, Nausea, Vomiting And Green Stool During Diarrhea?
For ten days I have had loose to watery diarrhea and it has been a watery brown. I have tried eating rice, wheat toast or english muffins, saltines, soft eggs and yogurt and some plain chicken. Today, the 11th day my diarrhea was a green color. I have never had any severe diarrhea but once in a while slight diarrhea that lasted only a day or so. I just turned 67 and am female. What is this a possible symptom of? I have no fever, headache, abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting or chills. I do not feel ill at all. Before this began I was fine. I have not had any foods that made me ill either.
Hi
I read carefully all your concerns and I would like to say that your symptoms seems to be related with acute gastrointestinal infection associated with acute diarrhea.
For the moment I would advice to use
tasectan
hydramine
plenty of water
If your diarrhea continue more that 2 weeks ,you need to be examined with:
-fecal analysis (coproculture, candida,fecal leucocytosis)
-blood work
- abdominal ultrasound
