People with multiple sclerosis (MS) tend to have their first symptoms between the ages of 20 and 40. Usually the symptoms get better, but then come back. Some may come and go, while others linger.
Whether you have a diagnosis or are worried about symptoms, know that MS doesn't have to control your life. You can work with your doctor to treat and manage your symptoms so you can stay healthy and continue to live the life you want.
Early Symptoms of MS
Blurred or double vision
Thinking problems
Clumsiness or a lack of coordination
Loss of balance
Numbness
Tingling
Weakness in an arm or legs.
No two people have exactly the same symptoms of MS.
You may have a single symptom, and then go months or years without any others. A problem can also happen just one time, go away, and never return. For some people, the symptoms become worse within weeks or months.
Here the symptoms what you have is also related to MS. I suggest to check with your neuro physician, take appropriate medication needed and suggested by doctor. As well also visit a physiotherapist and take proper exercise program for entire body muscle tonning and strengthening.
Also you can do healthy changes in your diet as well lifestyle. Doing exercises, proper diet, adequate rest and positive mental attitude is also very much needed to slow down the progression of MS.
Take care.

Multiple sclerosis signs and symptoms varies based on where it is affecting spinal nerve.
Usual symptoms are: numbness in hand or legs, partial or complete loss of vision, double vision, tingling or pain in part of body, electric shock sensation with bending neck movement, tremor, lack of coordination, instability, slurred speech, fatigue, dizziness, problem with bowel and bladder function.
Most people with MS have a relapsing-remitting course, with new symptoms (relapse) that develop over days or weeks and usually improve partially or completely, followed by a quiet period (remission) that can last months or even years. Small increases in body temperature can temporarily worsen signs and symptoms of MS, but that type of event isn't a relapse.

About 60 to 70 percent of people with relapsing-remitting MS eventually develop a steady progression of symptoms, with or without periods of remission (secondary-progressive MS). The worsening symptoms usually include problems with gait. The rate of progression varies greatly among people with secondary-progressive MS.

Some people with MS experience a gradual onset and steady progression of signs and symptoms with no relapses (primary-progressive MS).

To answer your question, since you had problem of MS previously there are chances of recurrence and due to that also you get numbness.
But there may be problem at back ( disc )level also and due to that also there might be numbness and weakness of lower limb. However the conformation can be done only after mri of your spine as a whole. And you should plan the treatment as per that.
Take care.
