What Is The Cure For Increased Bowel Movement And Acidity Of A 2 Year Old Child?

Hi doctor, My son is 2 years and 8 months old. For the last month he is passing too much gas, which has increased his frequency of passing stool. The first stool in the morning is normal and after that sometimes plain water, mucous, loose etc.... with lots and lot of gas. Need some suggestions on this.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
The history suggests nonspecific diarrhea.
In addition to routine treatment for diarrhea give him curd rice or rice with buttermilk
Cyclopam syrup which contains activated dimethicone will help reducing gas if given 3-4 times daily.
Plenty of fluids either coconut water, rice kanjee, or low molecular ORS solution will prevent dehydration
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
