Hi,
From history it seems that she might be having fungal infection over the part.
Apply anti-fungal cream locally.
Ask to take tablet Cetrizine or Benadryl for itching.
go for oral anti-fungal tablet like Flucanozole once in a week for 4 weeks.
Keep local part clean and dry.
If there is super added bacterial infection due to itching, ask her to go for one antibiotic medicine course.
Ok and take care.
