What Is The Cure For Swelling And Heavy Bruising In Shin And Ankle?
I took a hit in the shin from a log while on horse back 1 week ago deep in the mountains and only now just home. I still have swelling and heavy bruising in the shin and ankle, moderate pain and a large patch of numbness on the front of the shin. I'm walking well enough and I have been using an ice pack on and off for the entire week.

Please continue to keep ice and still if it continues, apply contrast bath. Contrast application is alternating with hot and ice.
Once the swelling reduces the numbness would go down.
