What Is The Cure For The Red Itchy Rashes Around The Sides Of The Mouth?

Hello, I m suffering from a red itchy rash around the sides of my mouth. It seems to appear right after I eat anything with tomatoes or tomatoe sauce. Is there a cream or pill I can take before or after? Or do I have to stop eating tomatoes all together? No pizza, lasagna, ketchup, salsa.

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..Tomatoes are part of the nightshade allergy family and also contain a high degree of a natural chemical known as salicylate which is related to aspirin and is a derivative of salicylic acid. Some people can not tolerate any amount of salicylate in their diet. Nightshade Allergy Family: tomatoes, potatoes, aubergines, peppers, chili peppers, tobacco,Atropa Belladona. Some symptoms;tingling lips, rashes, especially around the mouth, headaches, dermatitis, perioral dermatitis..kindly consult an allergy specialist for a check up and treatment..hope it helps..tc..
