What Is The Itchy Red Bump On My Upper Lip?

I have a red bump on my upper lip between my nose and my lip. It is inflamed, and has progressively grown since it first appeared. It is solid, occasionally itches, doesn't appear to have any sign of pus, and has a fairly large scabbed center. Cause? Name? Reccomendations?

hi,
from the description of your symptoms, you are having a bacterial infection of the skin,
i would suggest you take antibiotics and apply a cream that contains antifungal, antibacterial and steriod in it and it will disappear. use an antiseptic face wash to clean your face.
cause - heat or sometimes removing the hair on that area can leave an infection to develop if the thing used to remove is used on somebody else.
in medical terms it is called impetigo.
hope have answered your query
thanking you.
