What Is The Normal Thickness Of Uterine Wall And Safe Thickness For Pregnancy?
I had an ectopic pregnancy on my c-section scar. I had a mass through my uterus wall, was given methotrexate. My levels were finally down to 0 in mid January 2014 Mid Feb 2014 I had a saline infused ultrasound and my uterine wall was found to only be 3.6 mm. What is a normal thickness? and what is a safe thickness for another pregnancy? Thanks Kim
Hi Kim I can understand your concerns. The uterine wall thickness varies with the menstrual cycle from 4 to 8 mm . Just before menses its 8 and after periods its 4. So somewhere between 4-8 mm is sufficient and safe for pregnancy. Feel free to ask any other queries.
