Hello!

Your husband's symptoms are compatible with dementia. The situation is going to get worse and he will not remember your name and his name in the later stages. He may need a caregiver to help him with eating and his personal hygiene. You may need to keep an eye on him all the time, because forgetting the house or other things (like the water tap, oven, etc.) will be more frequent.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
