What Is The Reason For Diarrhea After Eating Alfredo?

I ate fetuccini alfredo at a new restaurant last night. Within 10 minutes of eating, I had severe diahrea. Now, 10 hours later, I am waking up with the flavor of that alfredo in my nose (weird) and coughing up the flavor (almost puking). Feeling sick to my stomach over it. Weird. I've never had this feeling.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the given history and symptoms could be suggestive of food allergies most of the time it is self limited but the sever condition or the symptom demands the hospitalization.
Here care needs to be taken for dehydration, condition may be self limiting but it can not be taken as granted so keep your eye open for dehydration and other symptoms like vomiting, anaphylaxes, fever, try to correct the dehydration with oral rehydration solution if no vomiting or nausea is there else you will have to get admitted in hospital.
hope this information helps.
