What Is The Reason For Strange Smell Experienced By A Patient With A History Of Epilepsy?

I have had epilepsy for almost 4 years now. Last seizure was last year november, so the medication i am on is really helping. My issue I am having is this weird smell I get on and off which started yesterday. I can't describe the smell, but I remember getting it when I was younger also. Not sure what or why this is happening.? Before each seizure i never would get any strange smells so i don't think it is because of this, but I am not sure. I don't know what to think about these smells though..

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
You are an epileptic, and using medicine since then, but never had the weired smell, which you are getting since 2 days.
It appears to be due to the infection in the nose, or indigestion,
which can cause the smell.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
Inform your doctor that you had seizure, one year back, because you are not expected to get the seizure, during the treatment, for 3 years, which confirms the success of treatment, and then you can stop treatment by tapering the dose.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
