What Is The Reason For Swelling In Labia Minora And Vaginal Pain?
I've been to the doctors twice and they gave me canesten oral duo (tablet and cream) because they said it's a thrush. However I can feel that my left lambia minora is quite swollen, it's not big but it hurts. I haven't had any sexual intercourse for the past three weeks or so. Also I had this vaginal pain happened to me 3 times now, first with vaginal discharge aswell as the second but this one doesn't have any discharge it's just swelling and pain but nothing major like big inflammation. I don't know what it is please help.

It could be due to a developing bartholin cyst which initially begins with swelling on inner side of labia minora and tyen progress to cyst and msy later on rupture giving pus like discharge...take antibiotics and anti inflammatory for five days and tske sitz bath in warm water to reduce swelling and pain.....abstain from sex meanwhile and since you have recurrent infection you could have to later on consider having marsupialisation for cyst if required

As you describe it appears to be the boil, under the labia minora. As it is getting big due to stretch it is paining, at a point it may burst, with pus coming out, and pain subsides.
If it done burst in a short time of period, it may be come bigger, and may cause severe pain.
If the pain become severe, it is to be incised and drained.
So i advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.You may need to use medicines after incision for complete healing of the wound.
