What Is The Reason For Tingling Pain In Leg After Stretching Exercises?

I stretch regularly and do yoga daily. Whenever I do a full hamstring stretch, there is an audible pop about 3/4 up my leg. Today I went for a run. I warmed up and stretched before. Halfway through I stopped to stretch and multiple loud pops occurres on my left leg. They were abnormal and I instantly felt a tingling pain in that leg. I walked around and it seemed to go away so I jogged home. I thought I was fine until I started to do a cool down stretch and the tingly pain returned and stayed. What could it be?
