What Is The Reason For Vomiting Black Watery Fluid Inspite Of Having PBC, Chronic Pancretitis And GERDS?
I have PBC and chronic pancretitis, also GERDS. During the night, I have vomited black watery stuff three times. It waoke me from deep sleep. Feel a little nauseated. I had an endoscopy about 3 months ago. Results were ok. Also have MS and am a breast cancer survivor of 10 years.
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The most common cause of black vomiting in your case could be the diet if this is only happens at night without any associated symptoms, still laboratory investigation may helps to differentiate it. Till then I would advise to try Tab Omeprazole with Tab Domperidone. If it is the GERD then PPI (Omeprazole) need to be continued for six weeks. Along with this it is important to rule out the possibility of infection (Helicobacter).
Hope this information helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain Shaikh
