What Is The Recommended Dosage Of Crocin For A Baby?

My 17 month old is running a 102 deg fever. Her doctor has prescribed 5 ml Crocin 4 times a day @ 5ml=160mg concentration. The manufacturer's directions say that the max. Dosage per day should not exceed 6mg per kg of body weight, she is 10kgs hence 60 mg. Is it safe to follow the doctor's instruction?
