What Is The Remedy For Pain In Neck And Shoulder Caused Due To Osteoarthritis?

I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my neck and shoulder in 2011 i was given an epidural and it has not been a problem until recently when I started having pain again. in the past two-three weeks I have been experiencing pain in the neck and shoulder that is radiating down my left arm to my wrist. My elbow hurts as well. I have no bumped it on anything. Im am experiencing weakness and cannot even lift small items with my left side.

Hi there .

Your symptoms correlate to Cervical Spondylosis and Radiculopathy .
Meaning degeneration of the bones of the neck along with pressure on the nerve roots in that area which causes such sort of symptoms .

Firstly let me say that there is no permanent cure for osteoarthritis .
The remedies we advise can help patients lead a better and slow the progression of the disease.

Kindly get an MRI done and get it evaluated by an orthopedician.
According to your symptoms it seems that tthere is too much compression on the nerves which could even be due to a disc pralopse.....the permanent cure for which is operative disc removal .

Till then kindly take pregablin along with methycobalamine.
Take a good analgesic and muscle relaxant like Etoricoxib .
Short term steroid also help....can be taken under strict supervision.
