What Is The Right Dosage Of Rabies For Stray Dog Bite?

Hello,After a stray dog bite I was given a choice of anti rabies course shots (Rabipur) of seven injections, or just one which would cover everything. Then I understand there s also a course of eleven injection course administered in the stomach which I believe is quite painful. What is the difference?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Previously we used to give neural tissue vaccine,subcutaneously 14 shots around the umbilicus.
Because certain serious life threatening reactions,it was abandoned and is replaced by chick embryo vaccine named Rabipur,which quite safe.
Rabipur is given IM on 0,3,7,14,30 and 90 days.

Hi...I suggest you take the 7 course vaccine intramuscularly. The ones given around the stomach are inferior - do not go for it. There is no substitute like a single dose which covers evertything.... If you are happy with my suggestion, kindly rate and thank. I wish you good health.
