Hi, my 6 weeks old daughter has being pooing for 5days, almost after each feed. With blood and mucus iin the poo. The poo isn't watery, seems more like sticky dry.. sometimes is like very normal poo. We have sent her poor for stool culture test, there is no bacteria. We have just switched her formula to soy, on our own as we asked the doc, he says we can try. Kindly advise what could be wrong with my daughter. She is also having alot of. Phlegm and hospital gave her a medicine named Bromhexine HCL Syrup..after 3rd dose, shhe develope rashes, we went to hospital and doc said at her age, it can't be drug allergy and her medication was stopped... we are wondering if her non stop poo got something to do with the medicine? Will her cough with phlegm go away on its own without any medication? Kindly advise us....we are very very worried for her, as it seems like we can't get an answer from our doc here. Tks.
