What Is The Timeline For Recovery From Typhoid?

MY son 13 years typhoid 1:180 since 6 days OCIF"O tab after 12 hrs given since 4 days, temp still 102, mausmi, apple,Anaar, milk thrice a day, a half boiled egg giving him daily
Any further advice, 2. also please tell recovery time taken.

Hi...If the child is having persistent fever spikes inspite of taking antibiotics for 4 days then the child needs re evaluation. Blood culture should be done to look for growth of organisms and sensitivity pattern. Accordingly antibiotic can be changed.
